2008 is rapidly drawing to a close and with it, this National Year of Reading. It has been an exceptional year for me as far as reading goes: 68 books so far and still time to squeeze in one more. This blog was set up as my contribution to the National Year of Reading and I’ve had a lot of fun doing it. I’d like to end by thanking everyone for dropping by. Also, a big thank you to the publishers who gave me permission to feature their titles on here, but more especially, to all the writers without whose books I would lead a very ordinary life.
Happy reading in 2009!

Well of course by now you know that the NYR is continuing (kinda’) which gives you permission to do the same.
If this is indeed your last post then thanks for everything. You’ll be missed at least in my own personal blogosphere. I’ve particuarly enjoyed your creative photography and increasingly puntastic titles.
Keep in touch.

I am getting withdrawal symptoms already – there are at least another three books which I could put on here, having just had the best part of two weeks off work. The photography is at best dodgy, but the puntastic titles are a challenge.

Don’t go – I’ve read several of the books you’ve recommended and enjoyed them, I need some direction in my book habit ;o)

I’ve thought long and hard about this, changed my mind and then changed it back again. Today I returned all of my library books except two; I am once again going to become a borrower who reads at her leisure, instead of feeling compelled to whizz through books so that she can post about them!
